Rosedale

One of Toronto's wealthiest neighbourhoods, this area has housed some of the city's most prominent citizens. Located west of Bayview Ave., just north of Yonge, Bloor and south of the CP railway, it has stood out for over a hundred years: natural beauty with its winding ravines and forested hiking trails, spectacular Victorian architecture, and upscale amenities for the city's elite. The 82 Rosedale bus travels along Mount Pleasant Road is the city's oldest bus route. The Rosedale subway station located on Yonge St. connects the neighbourhood to the rest of the city. Although only a few minutes' drive away from Toronto's downtown core, the neighbourhood's tranquility can make you feel as though you are in Cottage Country.

Moore Park a luxurious midtown neighbourhood, subdivided in 1889 as a suburb for the wealthy is a relatively small area north of Rosedale, displaying English cottage, Georgian and Tudor-style houses built on large lots. The area is sought after by families with children as well as young professionals who still want to enjoy Toronto's night life which is just a short distance away. Winding roads with frequent stops and speedbumps lead to a number of nearby subway stations: Summerhill, Rosedale, and St.Clair station, all roughly within a one-kilometre radius of each other.

Although it does not have the same name recognition as Rosedale, it is as exclusive as other elite Toronto neighbourhoods. Located between Avenue Rd. and Spadina Rd., and St.Clair West and Dupont St., the area possesses luxury rental apartment buildings and luxury homes on both sides of Avenue Road. Well served by public transportation, the Avenue Rd. bus connects passengers to Museum subway station, and the St. Clair streetcar connects passengers to stations on the Yonge subway line. Motorists enjoy easy access to major roadways: Yonge St., Avenue Rd., and Bathurst St.

This neighbourhood is minutes away from upscale shopping districts in Yorkville, Forest Hill Village, and the Yonge/St. Clair St. area by car or public transit .
